Alex Ybarra serves as state representative for the 13th District in Washington State, which includes Lincoln and Kittitas counties and parts of Grant and Yakima counties. His work with CSI involves outreach to rural and Eastern Washington communities to develop innovative projects in the region related to industrial symbiosis, renewable hydrogen, and integrated infrastructure solutions. 

 

Alex has worked on several legislative task forces and state commissions, including his 2016 appointment by the governor to the state Commission on Hispanic Affairs. Active in his community, Alex is the former director for the Quincy School Board and served as the vice president for the Washington State School Directors Association.
