In follow up to the Portland-Denmark Study Tour, our delegation organized a series of events designed to share learnings and help catalyze clean industry efforts in Portland:
A Portland City Council Special Work Session to share findings from the Clean Industry Knowledge Exchange. Watch the full recording below.
Clean Industry Opportunities Tour. A tour designed to build our understanding of opportunities for clean and inclusive industry in Portland. The tour included leaders from diverse sectors including business, government, labor, and community and environmental organizations.
Collaborating Toward Clean Industry in Portland. We heard about the Danish model of collaboration that has supported impressive clean industry gains and explored collaborative frameworks applicable to Portland.This session was geared toward representatives of business, government, labor, community and environmental justice, and research and development sectors. It was held at Portland State University.
Pathways Forward. This session provided an opportunity to reflect on the week's learnings and pathways forward. Participation included representatives of business, government, labor, community and environmental NGOs, and research and development sectors and is limited to folks that have attended at least one of the week's events. It will be held at the Port of Portland.
