Cadie Olsen

Board Member

Cadie manages Citywide policies, procedures, and data around a series of environmentally driven initiatives. Her work includes efforts to improve the City’s climate resiliency, understand its natural resource assets, and generally deliver better outcomes around sustainability and protection of the environment.

Cadie is charged with devising approaches to concerns that are both environmentally and financially responsible and is working on strategies around the City’s efforts to achieve net-zero energy usage and vastly improve the health of the Spokane River. She also helps facilitate environmental compliance monitoring and reporting throughout the City’s complex lines of business, including drinking water delivery and wastewater treatment to the collection of municipal solid waste and its disposal at the City’s Waste to Energy Facility.
