As CSI's Operations Manager since 2017, Terry's work touches on many aspects of nonprofit management and includes administrative, HR,  program coordination, and development roles. He has also gained project management experience working on policy and research initiatives, community value planning projects, and supporting the production of CSI reports. These include the 5 Big Goals for 2040 series, the PNW Renewable Hydrogen Action Plan, and the CSI-WSU-PNNL-produced Agriculture Symbiosis report to the Washington legislature.

 

Terry's educational background includes a degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Washington and a Master of Environmental Studies degree from The Evergreen State College. He also earned a certificate in Nonprofit Management from UW Tacoma's Professional Development Center. Other work experience includes an internship with the Washington Dept. of Ecology’s Water Quality section, working as an Assistant General Manager in the restaurant industry, and as a Lab Technician at the University of Washington's Dept. of Biology.
